Bookings and Conditions
PAYMENTS
A deposit of 50% of the total booking cost is payable with the initial booking. The final balance must be paid at least 8 weeks prior to arrival, bookings made within 8 weeks of the arrival date must be paid in full. Payments can be made either by Credit Card, Eurocheque (made payable to Concierge Vila Castelo) or Bank Transfer. In the event of clients cancelling the booking, all payments made at the time of cancellation are non refundable.
CONFIRMATION
Once we have received your reservation, confirmation will be sent in writing.
ALTERATIONS
If you make any changes to your booking you must inform Vila Castelo in writing. Every effort will be made to accommodate the changes, however no guarantees can be given.
PRICE OF HOLIDAY INCLUDES
Cleaning - house prepared for arrival and cleaned on departure. Air conditioning also included.
OCCUPANCY
The total number of occupants must not exceed the number stated on the booking form unless written agreement from Concierge Vila Castelo.
ADDITIONAL HOLIDAY SERVICES
The following services are available at an additional cost please advise when booking.
Mid week clean – 50 Euros
End of week clean - 75 Euros
Foodpack – Bread, fruit juice, butter, jam, coffee, tea, milk, mineral water, eggs, ham, cheese - 35 Euros
Taxi service –Max 6 people - 85 Euros
Extra bed – 40 Euros
Cot & High chair – 40 Euros
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Keys should be collected and returned to reception unless other arrangements have been made. Access to you accommodation will be before15.00 hours (dependent on departing guests). Clients will be requested to vacate before 10.00 hours on the day of departure.
INSURANCE
It is a condition of the booking that the client takes out independent travel insurance. The property is insured against fire and other usual insurable risks but will not include your personal belongings.
RIGHT RESERVED
The management at Vila Castelo reserve the right to terminate any booking if the clients are considered to be a risk to the property and its contents or a threat or nuisance to other guests or residents. Each house is governed by “community rules”,a copy is available from the reception. This includes restrictions on hanging linen or towels over balconies.
DAMAGES & BREAKAGES
Upon arrival clients will be required to provide a “breakage deposit”. This will be in the form of a signed credit card voucher. Any damage caused by the clients, or any third party invited by them to the accommodation, shall be the joint and several liability of the clients. This shall include the cost of replacement and / or reinstatement.
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be lodged in writing and filed at the reception. We shall endeavour to correct the problem as quickly as possible.
CAR HIRE
Every effort will be made to reserve requested groups and to provide an accurate quotation. As we rely on outside suppliers we cannot give a guarantee as to availability or pricing.
